POKOTABI / PLACES WORTH A DETOUR
シェアキッチン&スペース botan
At Share Kitchen & Space botan, the food changes with each pop-up and event. One visit brought together spicy keema, dal and dim sum; here’s what diners had to say about the meal.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Part of the appeal of Share Kitchen & Space botan is that the food changes depending on who is cooking there.
At one pop-up, a diner enjoyed a plate pairing spicy pork and beef keema with yellow mung dal curry. The keema brings a satisfying heat, while the dal is rich and gentle in flavour; scooping them up together lets their contrasting qualities mingle. An assortment of dim sum followed the curry. It reportedly included shrimp and onion shumai, coriander shumai, and seafood and sea lettuce gyoza, accompanied by carrot achar and cabbage pickles. The tangy sides offered another way to enjoy the meal, alongside both the curry and the dim sum.
On another occasion, a diner praised the green curry and pickles. The space has also hosted events featuring soba and snacks to accompany drinks, so the food and style of eating vary with each pop-up. It’s a place to keep in mind when a particular event or menu catches your interest.
